The 6 most common hesitations before a boudoir session

Many women think about a boudoir session for months before taking the plunge. Here are the hesitations I hear most often from women in Brussels and beyond, and what I tell them.

“I need to lose (or gain) weight first.”

You don’t need to wait for a different body. My clients are between 23 and 64, of every body type. My job is the light, the poses and choosing the outfits with you.

“I don’t know how to be sexy.”

You don’t need to know how to pose. I guide you from head to toe: where to place your hands, which leg to lean on, where to look. I show you every pose myself, and I regularly show you the images on the camera.

“I have no one to give the photos to.”

The photos are for you first. If they also bring someone else joy, all the better.

“I don’t know what to wear.”

Start by reading what to wear to a boudoir shoot. After you book, I send you my lingerie advice, and on the day, we choose three outfits together.

“I’m scared, I feel embarrassed.”

That’s normal, and it passes quickly. Before any booking, we talk on the phone: you tell me what you’re hoping for, I explain everything. On the day, hair and makeup give you time to relax. You can say no at any moment, and nudity is never required. My clients talk about it in their stories.

“I don’t want my photos to end up on the internet.”

Nobody sees your photos without your written consent. You choose what may be shared, anonymously or not, or nothing at all. Everything is explained here.
