The questions I’m asked most often before a session, with straight answers. I’m Steve Hubert, a boudoir photographer. My studio is in Waterloo, near Brussels, Belgium. If your question isn’t here, write to me.
The boudoir session
A boudoir photoshoot is an intimate, elegant portrait session: in lingerie, a shirt, a sheet, sometimes less, always within the limits you set. At Boudoir by Steve, it’s a full day at the studio in Waterloo, near Brussels, with professional hair and makeup, guided posing and a reveal of your photographs the same day.
The Boudoir by Steve studio is in Waterloo, Belgium, near Brussels, about 30 minutes from Brussels Airport. Sessions are by appointment only.
Plan for the whole day. Hair and makeup, the session with three outfits and the reveal of your photographs all happen without rushing.
French, English or Dutch. Steve Hubert can guide the whole experience, from the first call to the reveal of your photographs, in any of these three languages.
Before you decide
No. Most of the women I photograph have never posed before. Before each pose, I explain it and show it to you myself: where to place your hands, your feet, your gaze. Guiding you is my job.
No. So far, my clients have been between 23 and 64 years old, of every body type. Sessions are for adults only.
It’s a fair question, and many women ask it. With me, every pose is explained and shown before I ask for it, you can say no at any moment, and nudity is never required. A professional makeup artist is also there for your hair and makeup. My clients often mention this in their stories.
No. Nudity is never required. You set your limits, and I respect them at every moment of the session.
No, unless you give written consent. At the end of the day, you fill in a sharing authorization: you can allow some photos and decline others, choose an anonymous or identifiable publication, or share nothing at all.
Investment
A session at Boudoir by Steve starts at €499, hair and makeup included. Your album and photo collections are purchased separately: I present them during our call.
The price reflects the time I give each client, from preparation to the selection of the images, as well as professional hair and makeup and a full day of guided session.

Preparation
Bring the outfits you love: on the day, we choose three of them together. Solid colors (black, white, red, nude) work very well, and if you bring only one piece, make it a bodysuit. Arrive in loose clothes to avoid marks on your skin.
Yes. A professional makeup artist and hairstylist takes care of you at the start of the day. It’s often the moment when the nerves settle.
Moisturize your skin every day for a week, avoid self-tanner in the 48 hours before the session, and if you wax, do it two days before. On the day, eat normally.
After the session
The same day. At the end of the session, we look at your photographs together on a large screen, and I help you choose them and pair them in an album.
Yes, with natural retouching. The point is not to add or remove anything from your body, but to show it as it is.
A few weeks after your session. If you live abroad, it is shipped to your home.
Booking
Write to me through the inquiry form. You then receive a short video (in French) about the session and the budget, and a link to book a call. After that call, you decide, with no pressure.
